Qazipur village is located to the north of the ancient historical town of Hazro. There is an ancient ferry crossing between Hazro and Qazipur which is often used by smugglers. The Indus is very wide here and in the case of low water, many channels and islands are formed in the river.
In ancient times, although the velocity of water was reduced when there was a shortage of water, channels and islands were not formed. People traveled across the river on horses and camels, or in small boats. This ferry crossing was once located on the Indo-Iranian border.
The area across the river was part of Sistan and the east bank was part of Gandhara. Times changed and the Rajagans of Gandhara pushed the Iranians to the other side of Mount Solomon. On the west bank of the river settled the town of Hind, which became the capital of Gandha.
Remains of the historic city of Hind or India still exist today. And in addition to the ruins of forts, mansions, gardens, inns, and roads. There is an endless series of cemeteries that stretch from the town of Hind on the west bank to Raja Hoodi on the south bank of the river.
Military check post and then goes to Khairabad and Kahu ferry. These forts and other structures range from traces of the Gandhara civilization to the Ghakhar and Mughal constructions. And the series of cemeteries are traces of the Ghakhar Rajas, the Kashmiri rulers, and the kings of Ghazni.

Historical references show that the city was first discovered by the Aryans. The Aryans were originally from Khwar Zam and Bukhara in western Central Asia. In 2000 BC, the Aryans migrated to Europe and South Asia and continued to arrive for five hundred years.
When there was no space left in the Indus Valley, human floods flooded the Ganges Valley and occupied the entire subcontinent. They entered the Indus Valley via the Khyber Pass and the Boan Pass. Beyond Peshawar, Hind is the place where the restless caravans of the Aryans would stop.
And cross the river and then proceed along the eastern banks of the Indus. The beliefs of the Aryans were clearer and more civilized than those of the natives. They believed in the unseen God of the universe.
He has a force that created this universe and then constantly builds, beautifies, and preserves it with his own hands. They believed in the oneness of God. According to Rig Veda, they worshiped the forces created by nature, including water.
When the Aryans arrived in India, they first encountered the Indus Sea. The Aryans had never seen such a dreadful river before. He also considered the Indus Sea as God. When Alexander the Great invaded India, Raja Ambi Hakim Taxila met Alexander at Hind.
According to some traditions,
Raja Ambi and Porus, despite being cousins, were also enemies of one another. Ambi befriended Alexander and helped the Greek forces cross the river between Hind and Hazro.
After Alexander the Great, the Dard tribes came to the subcontinent and crossed the Indus River from two places. The first invasion took place at Hind and the second at Chilas. At Chilas, the river Sher is very narrow but fast, while at Hind.
The width of the river is three to five kilometers and the speed is very slow. The pains engulfed all of Afghanistan, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Multan, on both sides of the Indus. And for a long time, no other nation or tribe was able to suppress them.
Due to severe weather and lack of pastures, the Dardans limited their control from the northern mountains of Attock to the Kishan Ganga Valley. And even today a large number of Dard tribes live in the Kohistan Hazara and adjoining areas.
